Best of Kenya Wildlife 11 Days


Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival at Nairobi International Airport you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight at The Stanley Hotel or equivalent.

Day 2: Njeri Town
From Nairobi head to a small market town of Njeri in time for lunch. Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts movement spent the last years of his life at Njeri and was buried here. Drive through the forest where varied species of game can be seen along the way to your tree hotel. Tonight, you will be able to watch game from your hotel balcony, which overlooks a floodlit waterhole. Overnight at The Ark or Mountain Lodge (full board).

Day 3 : Samburu Game Reserve
Take breakfast and drive north to reach Samburu Game Reserve in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive acquaints you to this gorgeous game park, home to scarce species such as the blue-necked Somali ostrich, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Beisa Oryx. Back to the camp for Overnight (full board) .

Day 4 & 5: Samburu
Disburse the days traversing the reserve and observing its varied species of game. Overnight at the camp. (Full board).

Day 6: Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast and drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to go down into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. Visit the world famous bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge in the park or Lion Hill (full board).

Day 7: Lake Nakuru
Take pleasure from a morning and afternoon game drive around the lake. A luncheon and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge in the park or Lion Hill (Full board).

Days 8 - 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will cross the Great Rift Valley and reach Kenya's most famous Game Reserve, Masai Mara, in time for lunch. Spend the days exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot the black-maned lion, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and cheetahs along with assorted species of hoofed animals. Back for overnight and dinner at the camp. (Full board).

Day 11: Nairobi
Wake up early morning for breakfast. Return to Nairobi for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant for any kind of game meat you want, crocodile, and buffalo, name it. Transfer to the airport to catch up with your departure flight. For a late evening flight, day use room can be reserved for you to freshen up before you connect to the airport.
