10 Days Safari with Gorillas & Zanzibar
Day 1(Dec 21st) – Arrival and transfer to Kibale National Park
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. You’ll be welcomed by our representative who will welcome you to the country. You’ll then refresh and embark on your journey to Kibale National Park, arriving in the late afternoon.
Drive to your booked accommodation and check in. Lunch and Dinner at the lodge. Overnight stay at Kibale
Note: If you are to arrive and transfer to Kibale, you should arrive in Uganda no later than 10:00 am.

Day 2 (Dec 22nd) – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland
On this day, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll be driven to Kibale National Park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking experience. You’ll join other visitors for a briefing session about the chimpanzee trekking experience and later enter the forest to search for these stunning creatures.
The trek can last between 2 and 6 hours depending on the location of the chimps. As you trek through the forest, you’ll also be able to see several bird species and other primates that inhabit this forest. After locating the chimps, spend 1 hour viewing them. Later return to the starting point and then to the lodge.
Refresh and have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, go for a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland. You’ll have an opportunity to interact with the locals. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 (Dec 23rd)– Transfer to Bwindi
Following a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, depart Kibale and embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the remaining mountain gorilla population in the world. The drive takes you through the beautiful countryside that will also double as a road trip. Arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon and drive to your booked Accommodation.
Check in at the lodge and relax. Spend the evening resting at the lodge as you brace for the gorilla trekking experience the next day. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4 (Dec 24th) – Gorilla Trekking
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and drive to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking. The trekking experience starts at around 8:00am with a briefing by the park officials. After the briefing and group allocation, you’ll indulge into the forest to search for the gorillas.
Gorilla trekking is a remarkable experience as you’ll feel the familiarity of these creatures as they try to mimic human behaviors. After locating them, spend 1 hour in their company. After the trek, return to the park headquarters. You’ll then be driven back to the lodge for a refreshing meal and a short rest.
In the afternoon, go for a community tour, visiting the local Batwa for an opportunity to witness their culture. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 (Dec 25th) – Transfer back to Entebbe
Following an early morning breakfast, depart the lodge and start your long journey back to Entebbe. You’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of the countryside, as you drive past several towns. Lunch will be enjoyed en route.
Arrive in the late afternoon and proceed to your booked accommodation in Entebbe. Check in, have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 (Dec 26th) – Fly to Zanzibar & evening relaxation by the beach
Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Entebbe international Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Board your flight and fly to Zanzibar. Arrive at Zanzibar Airport, your Safari guide will welcome you and then transfer you to your booked accommodation in Zanzibar.
Arrive at hotel, check in and rest through the evening.

Day 7 (Dec 27th) – Visit As Salaam Cave
After breakfast, visit As Salaam Cave, a hidden natural cave featuring fresh-water pools perfect for swimming and exploring.
Experience close interactions with Zanzibar giant turtles in a local sanctuary, observing these majestic reptiles in their natural habitat.
Return to Nungwi Dreams by Mantis in the late afternoon to relax or enjoy optional beach activities.

Day 8 (Dec 28th) – Cheetah Rock Adventure
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Cheetah Rock, a local wildlife and cultural experience center. Enjoy guided activities including animal encounters, educational tours about local wildlife, and interactive experiences with exotic species.
Return to Nungwi Dreams by Mantis for dinner and relaxation.

Day 9(Dec 29th) – Mnemba Island- Half Day snorkeling
After breakfast, depart for a half-day trip to Mnemba Island, famous for its pristine beaches and vibrant coral reefs. Enjoy guided snorkeling over colorful reefs teeming with tropical fish and marine life, including sea turtles and reef sharks (harmless species).
Return to Nungwi Dreams by Mantis in the afternoon.

Day 10 (Dec 30th) Departure
Spend your final morning relaxing on Nungwi’s pristine beach, swimming, or enjoying a last indulgent breakfast at the hotel.
Private transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight departure.
