14 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari
The 14 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari is a well curated safari package that combines two great destinations in East Africa for a memorable adventure. This classic 2-week safari tour is designed to accommodate all the top safari experiences on a single safari visit to Africa. This classic 14 Days Uganda & Kenya Safari allows you to experience the famous mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, and wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park during your time in Uganda. Mountain gorilla trekking is arguably one of the best wildlife encounters on earth, with all past travelers describing the experience as a life changing adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Witnessing the majestic mountain gorillas in the wild is a remarkable experience, especially since only a few thousand of these primates are remaining.
Second to mountain gorilla trekking is chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, also sometimes referred to as the “primate capital of the world.” Beside the chimpanzees, this national park is also home to 12 other primate species including; Olive Baboon (Papio anubis), L’Hoest’s Monkey (Allochrocebus lhoesti), Blue Monkey (Cercopithecus mitis), Red-tailed Monkey (Cercopithecus ascanius), Vervet Monkey (Chlorocebus pygerythrus), Ugandan Red Colobus (Piliocolobus tephrosceles), Black-and-white Colobus (Colobus guereza), Uganda Mangabey (Lophocebus ugandae), Potto (Perodicticus potto), and Eastern Needle-clawed Galago (Euoticus elegantulus) among others.
After an incredible primate adventure in Kibale, you’ll also have an opportunity to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park where you’ll enjoy game drives and boat cruises. During a visit here, you’ll enjoy viewing top wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and several other mammal grazers.
After your experience in Uganda, you’ll fly to Kenya, where you’ll enjoy memorable wildlife tours in some of the best safari destinations in Africa. During your time in Kenya, you’ll explore the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the famous African Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant) and the Great Migration (Wildebeest Migration in Kenya).
You’ll enjoy incredible wildlife viewing experiences in the Masai Mara National Reserve. The other destination that you’ll visit during this time is Lake Nakuru National Park. After wildlife viewing in these two iconic safari parks, you’ll visit the Kenyan coast for an opportunity to cool off.
