Day 1: Nairobi -Amboseli National Park

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi, or the airport to start your 7-Day Luxurious Adventure in Kenya. You’ll board a private 4×4 Luxury Tour Vehicle and drive to your first destination which is Amboseli National Park. This scenic journey covers approximately 230 kilometers which is about 4 to 5 hour drive. This journey takes you through several towns like Athi River, one of the fast growing industrial towns, Machakos, Sultan Hamud and Email which is a main junction to Amboseli National Park.

Besides driving through some towns in Kenya, you’ll also enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the expansive savannas that you’ll see as you move out of Nairobi. Visitors also get to witness the local Maasai Villages near Amboseli, the scenic hills ( especially the Chyulu Hills or even the mount Kilimanjaro snow). Upon arrival at the park, proceed to your booked safari lodge and check in for lunch and a short relaxation.

You’ll enjoy lunch at your Amboseli accommodation, with time to freshen up and relax before embarking on your afternoon adventure. As promised, you’ll surely witness stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the scenery of this small park. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy game drives, look out for different wildlife that inhabit the park, including the large elephant herds. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park Full Adventure

On the second day of this luxury 7 Days Kenya Safari, enjoy an early morning breakfast before embarking on a full day adventure in Amboseli National Park. Today you’ll spend the whole day exploring the Amboseli National Park, discovering its diverse ecosystems that teem with different wildlife species. The typical full day adventures start from the lodge, drive to Enkongo Narok Swamp, popular for its incredible numbers of wildlife, including the hippos, elephants, buffalo, and different birdlife. Enjoy adventures here before proceeding to Observation Hill around Noomotio, where you can also enjoy a picnic lunch.

Continue with your adventure to Lake Amboseli Basin where you’ll enjoy viewing different wildlife species including cheetahs, lions, zebras, and wildebeest. The Lake Amboseli basin is also a great place for witnessing birdlife, especially flamingos and pelicans. Continue with a drive to Kitirua Conservation Area for more wildlife viewing. From Kitirua, drive to Soit Paka in the south for opportunities to spot the rare species like the Bat-eared foxes, spotted hyenas, the African wild cat, and sometimes the caracals. From Soit Paka, drive via Empusel Plains back to Ol Tukai for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli -Lake Naivasha

Wake up early and enjoy a short morning game drive in the park. After the game drive return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha where your next adventure awaits. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. Drive to you’re the lodge and check in. After lunch, there is an optional activity at an extra cost (boat cruise on the Lake Naivasha) or explore Lake Naivasha while enjoying bird watching and the breeze and tranquillity. This place is known for its hippo population that you’ll witness on your adventure. The birdlife here includes pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles, which have a haunting cry.

There is also an option of visiting the Crescent Island, where you can walk among wild animals and enjoy viewing them up close. Other optional activities available here are guided nature walks, biking, and horseback riding at extra cost.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru National Park

Today, wake up and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, you can visit the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park for different adventure activities like cycling, walking safaris, or hiking in the Hell’s Gate Gorge. Although this national park lacks predators, it hosts several other wildlife species that you can witness, including zebras, and several antelopes.

Later, proceed with a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the famous Lake Nakuru National Park – especially for its millions of flamingos and other birdlife, including pelicans, among other species. Expect to encounter black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffes, and many more.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on a transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. The iconic Masai Mara National Reserve is worldwide renowned for its incredible wildlife, especially the African Big Five, the spectacular wildebeest migration, and pristine wilderness beauty. Safaris here guarantee visitors opportunities to spot different wildlife, birdlife, and the opportunity to see all the members of the Big Five in one morning.

Arrive in Masai Mara and proceed to your booked safari lodge. Check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch, and a short rest. After lunch, you can explore the reserve on a game drive for opportunities to spot different wildlife and birdlife in the reserve. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Exploration at Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart the lodge for a full-day game-viewing adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. Although the there are several safari routes to follow, on this day we will explorer starting from the Topi Plains which area filled with open savannas filled with large numbers of mammal grazers and predators. While here, you’ll witness lions, cheetahs, leopards, topis, zebras and wildebeest among others. From here, proceed with your adventure to the Paradise plains, known for its large lion prides and cheetahs. Other big cats here are hyenas, and jackals that visitors are likely to encounter in action. From the Paradise plains, drive tp the Musiara marsh for more wildlife viewing and a picnic lunch.

After lunch, proceed to the Rhino ridge where you can see rhinos, buffalos, lions, elephants, and many other species. After exploring this area, proceed to the Mara River for opportunities to witness the river crossing and predators in action. Continue with a drive through the Olare Orok Valley before returning  to the lodge via the Topi Plains.

Day 7: Masai Mara-Nairobi

You’ll have a leisurely breakfast and then check out of the lodge. You’ll transfer back to Nairobi with a final game drive en-route. You will have a brief stop at Narok town for a hot lunch. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be taken to JKIA for your journey back home or dropped off at your overnight city hotel.
