Detailed 7 Days Best Primates Safari Uganda
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport & transfer to your hotel
Arrive at Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport to start your 7 Days primate and wildlife safari. Upon arrival, your driver guide will transfer you to your booked accommodation facility. Arrive at the hotel, and check in. You’ll spend the rest of your day at the hotel.

Day 2: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Following an early morning breakfast at the hotel, your driver guide will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This long journey takes you through the beautiful countryside passing through various popular towns and cities. You’ll drive through Mbarara, where you’ll also enjoy an en-route meal. Along the way, you will enjoy the wonderful vegetation, the long-horned Ankole cattle, and the Ugandan homesteads and farms. Arrival in Bwindi will be in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mountain Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience
Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and head to the visitors’ center, where you’ll join other visitors for a gorilla trekking briefing session. After the briefing, you’ll be divided into small groups of about 8 members and then allocated gorilla families that you’ll be trekking. It is time to grab your trekking stick and explore the deep impenetrable jungles to search for the endangered primates. The trek is challenging but rewarding, with excellent encounters with the majestic gorillas.
After trekking for some time in the forest, you’ll finally locate the gorillas in the wild and enjoy observing them for one full hour. At this moment, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to film and take photographs of these primnates for memories. Later after your allocated time with the gorillas elapses, start the trek back to the starting point or visitors center. You’r guide with take you back to the lodge where a sumptuous refreshing meal awaits.
After lunch and a short relaxation, visit the local community for an immersive cultural experience. Later after the cultural tour, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 of the 7 Days Best Primates Safari Uganda – Chimpanzees trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
Start your day early in the morning with breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters, where you’ll join groups of other trekkers for a briefing session. After the briefing, you’ll go in the forest to search for the chimpanzees. Kibale National Park is renowned for its impressive population of primates, also known as the Primate capital of the world. You’ll trek in the forest, witnessing various species, including of birds, primates,and other forest wildlife. You ll encounter the chimpanzees and enjoy observing them for one full hour. Later return to the visitors center.
Transfer back to your lodge for a refreshing meal. After lunch, embark on a visit to the Bigodi Wetland for natural walks. This area is famous for its impressive avian species and primates. After the adventure, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
