Detailed 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International airport and transfer to Arusha SG resort for overnight. Meal plan Bed & breakfast.

Day 2 of 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: Arusha-Kilimanjaro-Marangu Route. Day walking tour

After morning breakfast drive to Marangu gate as from 0800 hrs which is 1800 m above the sea level. After processing the permit start day walking tour at this Coca-Cola route through Mountain rain forest to Mandara Hut 2700m from the sea level for dinner and overnight stay.

It covers a distance of 7 km which takes 3-4 hours. After lunch start walking back to the main gate. Proceed to make a short visit to the waterfall, and traditional Ca tribe house. Visit old war hides. Late in the evening start driving to Arusha for overnight at Sg resort. Meal plan Bed & Breakfast

Day 3: Safari from Arusha to Tarangire

Pick up from the hotel at 8 am and transfer to Tarangire National Park for game view. Tarangire National Park covers an area of 1360sq km (525sq miles) with scattered Baobab trees, alternating with open acacia woodland which caters for wildlife food, open bush plains, swamps and rivers like river Tarangire. Wildlife like Elephants, Zebra, Giraffe, Dik Dik and Ostrich and different species of birds can be seen; don’t forget your lunch boxes. Dinner and overnight stay at the Country Lodge (c) or Twiga campsite (B). Meal plan Full Board.

Day 4 of 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: Safari from Country lodge to Serengeti

Depart from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park after breakfast via Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. Stop by Oldupai Gorge where the fossil of first humans called Zinjanthropus were discovered by Dr. Lousy Leakey and Mary Leakey while packed with your picnic lunch box. Continue with afternoon game drive at this endless plain Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Katikati tented lodge or Similar(C) or Seronera public campsite (B). Meal plan Full Board.

Day 5: Serengeti Tour Full day

Breakfast is followed by full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. This Park covers an area of 14,763sq km. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language and means “endless plains”. Here wildlife like Lion, Thompson and Grant Gazelle, Zebra, Buffalo, Hippo, Elephant, Cheetah, and Rhino can be seen; don’t forget to bring your lunch boxes. Dinner and overnight at Katikati tented lodge or Similar(C) or Seronera public campsite (B). Meal plan Full Board.

Day 6 of 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: Tour from Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Early morning game drive at this endless plain while searching for early hunters. Drive to the camp for late breakfast then start driving to Ngorongoro while enjoying game en route for overnight. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or similar(C) or Ngorongoro Simba campsite. Meal plan Full Board

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater-Arusha

After breakfast, you depart to Ngorongoro to see the enjoyment of the beautiful tour to Ngorongoro Crater. You come across unique attractions near this historical caldera where man and wildlife are living together without harming one another.

Get a chance to observe wildlife including Lion, Elephant, Hippo, Wildebeest, Warthog, and Zebra, and see also lake Magadi, Lerai Forest, and Ngoitokito swamp; while bringing your picnic lunch boxes. Start driving to Arusha after lunch and later transfer to the airport to depart to Uganda.

On the arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Imperial royale or Metropole hotel or The Lodge.

Day 8 of 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: The marvelous Murchison falls on the Nile

Early morning, leave Entebbe driving Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle. If you start early morning, it is possible to visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to see rhinos in the wild. Lunch in Masindi Hotel. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest protected area in Uganda, with 3.840 Kms, named after the falls on the Victoria Nile, which divides the park into two sectors.

Relax a bit at a situated site on the top of the spectacular falls, where you can see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through a seven-meter canyon. The 43-meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the best of the Nile River Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 9: The boat cruise on the River Nile

Your day starts with an early morning game drive, transverse the Northern part of the park for a game drive to view and take photographs of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, if you are lucky the leopards, plus a variety of bird species.

After lunch, proceed for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. This is an opportunity to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 10 of 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: Fort Portal on the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon

Early morning transfer from Murchison Falls driving Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori. Day 11:  Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Pearl of Uganda

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast. Have a game drive en –route to the lodge. After lunch, enjoy the two hours launch trip on Kazinga Channel for amazing birdlife and a variety of wildlife. An evening drive to the crater lakes region is rewarding. Dinner & overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Ihamba lodge or Bush lodge. FB

Day 12 of 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: The habituated chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge

Take an early morning cup of coffee before setting off for a game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, buffalos, warthogs and lots of animals and birds. Get back to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, drive to Kyambura gorge for a forest walk to look for the habituated chimpanzees and other primates.

This gorge is 16 km long on the Rift Valley and 100 meters deep. The rangers will provide you with a walking stick for this spectacular trekking. Dinner & overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Ihamba lodge or Bush lodge. FB

Day 13: The tree climbing lions in Ishasha

Early breakfast and drive to the Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive in search of the tree-climbing lions. Today you will have packed lunch. After the game drive proceed to Bwindi for dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs or Silverback lodge or Buhoma community. FB

Day 14 of 15 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: The magic encounter with the mountains gorillas

After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the mountains gorilla tracking inside the Bwindi forest. You need to carry drinking water, rain jacket, and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas.

After tracking, come back to the Homestead for lunch before making a scenic journey to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. An area referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with its incredible view of Lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight at Birdnest or Heritage lodge. FB

Day 15: The fabulous scenery of Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, have a two-hour boat ride inside Lake Bunyonyi to various islands inside the lake for bird viewing, sightseeing and discovering the sites of the Bakiga culture. Drive to Entebbe. Lunch en route in Mbarara. A stopover is made at the Equator for photography. End of service.
