Day 1: Arrival at Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will transfer you to your Hotel in Nairobi, where you will spend the night on a bed and breakfast basis. Depending on your arrival time, you will have an opportunity to explore Nairobi Town at your own pace. Dinner and overninght at your booked hotel in Nairobi.

Day: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, embark on a transfer to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to begin your wildlife adventure in Kenya. This journey takes you through the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Look for the captivating chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. Pass via the majestic Longonot earth satellite station as you cross the Valley to Narok. Move across acres of barley and wheat before you reach the Masai Mara. You’ll arrive at the Reserve in time for lunch and drive to your booked safari lodge. Chech in and enjoy a sumptuous meal.

After lunch and a short rest at the lodge, embark on the first game viewing adventure. Embark on an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara for opportunities to witness its incredible wildlife. During the game drive, you’ll encounter different wildlife species that occupy this vast wilderness. Among the species you’ll encounter are lions, zebras, elephants, wildebeest, buffalos and various antelope species among others. After the adventure, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve

Wake up very early for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara and then an afternoon game drive will follow. Note however that at certain times of the year the park is the Migration scene of the Wildebeest – and so if you time your 7 Days Best Kenya Wildlife Safari accurately, you will witness the event. A very interesting occurrence! Overnight and meals at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Road transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park & Afternoon Game drive

After breakfast, you’ll see the world across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasai land. Cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley to encounter herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at your destination, Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often colored shimmering flamingo pink, from the thousands of beautiful birds lining its shores. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en route to the lodge. Have lunch and rest a bit in preparation for an afternoon game drive. Overnight and meals at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

Day 5: Road trip to Amboseli National Park

Begin a journey across the top of the Rift Valley Escarpment, providing magnificent views of Lakes Naivasha, Elementaita, and the Great Rift Valley, not leaving out the dormant Longonot volcano at a centripetal stage. Move via Kenya’s highlands, for lunch in Nairobi, and then proceed south across the Athi Plains to the border town of Namanga. Here you’ll detour east to Amboseli National Park at the foot of grand Mount Kilimanjaro, habitat to a wealth of wildlife but particularly known for its elephants. Reach your lodge with game viewing in the late afternoon. Overnight and meals at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 6: Wildlife safari in Amboseli National Park

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. This spectacular National Park is renowned for its large herds of elephants and the majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. During the game drive, you’ll encounter various wildlife species that live in the park. Some of the species you’ll see while exploring the park includes elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and hyena,s among others. As it approaches lunch time, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest.

After lunch, you’ll embark on another game drive in the park for opportunities of witnessing the incredible wildlife and the spectacular natural sceneries including the stunning backdrop of the Kilimanjaro Mountain. Your focus in the afternoon will be the unexplored popular wildlife viewing hotspots that you might have missed out during the morning game drive. After your remarkable afternoon game drive in the park, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Day of Departure

Morning game drive and you’ll hopefully catch your last clear early morning view of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as you leave Amboseli behind while heading west to the brilliant border town of Namanga. Here you may find a good discount on unique Maasai beadwork. Then detour north along a good tarmac road across the gorgeous and apparently never-ending Athi Plains, arriving in Kenya’s buzzing capital city of Nairobi by midday. Lunch in Nairobi and transfer to your preferred drop off point, airport or hotel.
