Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe International Airport to Lake Mburo National Park

Depending on your location, you’ll be picked up early in the morning and transferred Lake Mburo National Park to start your 4 days classic safari. The journey takes between 4 to 5 hours. Uganda is blessed with stunning sceneries that you’ll enjoy viewing on your way to Lake Mburo, you’ll witness the stunning landscapes and greenery. You’ll have a stopover at the Uganda Equator crossing in Kayabwe where you will witness the water experiment live in action. You’ll then continue with a drive to Lake Mburo National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Proceed to your booked safari lodge and check in for lunch.

After lunch and a short relaxation, you’ll embark on your first adventure in Lake Mburo National Park. Depart the lodge and embark on an evening game drive in the park for opportunities to witness its incredible diversity. Lake Mburo National Park is home to a wide range of wildlife species including; Zebras, Antelopes, Buffalos, Hyenas, a few Giraffes, and various Birds. You’ll enjoy witnessing these animals on your customized safari vehicle with plenty of opportunities for photography. After your remarkable adventure, return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Morning Game drive in Lake Mburo National Park & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park 

On the second day,  you’ll enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park before finally transferring to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on a morning game drive. Since you’ll not be returning to the lodge, you’ll embark on departing with all your belongings and enjoy an early morning game drive in the park. The safari guides are usually well versed with the park and will take you to top wildlife sighting areas making wildlife sighting much easier. You’ll visit new locations that you might have missed out on the previous game drive. Enjoy spotting various wildlife species including Leopards, Jackals, and a variety of herbivores such as Impalas, Waterbucks, Zebras, and Giraffes among others.

After your memorable adventure in the park, you’ll exit the park and embark on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll drive through various popular towns and stunning countryside. You’ll have a stopover for lunch and then proceed with your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where your next adventure awaits. Arrive at the park in the evening and proceed to your booked safari lodge. Check-in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day Adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your day early in the morning with a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, embark on your first wildlife viewing adventure, drive to the Kasaneyi plains where you’ll enjoy spotting various wildlife species. A sunrise game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park is offers remarkable opportunities to spot various wildlife species including the elusive noctanals as they head back to their hiding places. Queen Elizabeth National Park is known for its concentration of wildlife including four members of the African Big Five (Lion, leopard, buffalo, and Elephant). You’ll also encounter different antelope species on your game drives in various areas of the park. as it nears lunch time, return to the lodge and for a short relaxation and lunch. After lunch, depart the lodge and head for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

One of the major highlights of safaris to Queen Elizabeth National Park is a boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel. The Kazinga channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward. It is known for its concentration of hippopotamus ( with one of the largest concentrations in the whole of Africa). Enjoy cruising on the calm waters as you witness these large hippo schools. You’ll also spot other wildlife species at the banks and several bird species, especially water birds. After your cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning Game drive & Transfer Back to Kampala/ Entebbe 

Wake up and have your breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, enjoy an early morning short game drive in the park, witnessing the diverse wildlife one more time. You’ll explore various areas of the park that you might have not explored on the previous game drives. After the game drive, return to the lodge and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before checking out. Check out of the lodge and embark on a transfer back to Kampala/Entebe. You’ll enjoy this long drive through the countryside – witnessing the stunning beauty of Uganda. Lunch will be enjoyed along the way.

Arrive in Kampala/Entebbe in the late evening and drop off at your preferred location.
