Your 4 Days Uganda Chimp Tour Starts with a pick up from either Kampala or Entebbe. From here, you’ll embark on a transfer to Kibale National Park in western Uganda. The journey to Uganda’s Kibale National Park takes you through the stunning countryside with beautiful landscapes and sceneries. You’ll drive through Fort Portal, one of the popular tourist towns and if time allows, you can visit the ‘Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru Caves, the Karambi tombs, and Omukama’s palace.

From Fort Portal, continue with your drive to Kibale, arriving in the evening. Arrive at the lodge and check in. You’ll spend the rest of your day relaxing at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Today, you’ll embark on your long-awaited primate tracking experience. Wake up, have your breakfast at the lodge and after head to the park headquarters for a briefing session. After briefing, embark on a chimpanzee trekking experience in the dense forest of Kibale National Park. The trek lasts anywhere between 1 to 6 hours. As you trek through the forest, you’ll encounter several other forest inhibitors including various bird species, and primates. After a long trek in the forest, you’ll finally locate the chimpanzees and enjoy about one full hour of watching them.

After your time with the primates elapses, trek back to the starting point where your driver guide will be readily waiting to transfer you back to your booked safari accommodation. Enjoy a refreshing meal at the lodge and a short Rest. In the afternoon, embark on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a journey that takes about 3 hours. Arrive at the park by evening and proceed to your booked safari lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
