Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park & Visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

This classic safari tour starts with a pick up from either Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning and a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Embark on a long journey to Murchison Falls National Park in the western part of Uganda, driving through some of the top towns. This journey also doubles as a sightseeing journey as you’ll enjoy viewing the stunning countryside and landscapes. Before arriving at the park, you’ll have a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sancturay in Nakasongola for an opportunity to track the endangered rhinos. The experience of tracking the rhinos at Ziwa is really remarkable. After your rhino tracking adventure, proceed with a drive to Murchison Falls national park arriving in the evening.

Drive to your booked safari lodge where you’ll be spending the night. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 2: Morning Game drive & afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls 

On the second day of your 4 Days Murchison Falls Safari, Wake up and go on an early morning exciting game drive on the northern bank for a memorable wildlife viewing experience. The northern area is renowned for its incredible wildlife diversity including several mammal grazers like giraffes, elephants, buffalos, and various antelope species. You’ll also be able to spot the elusive African Cats like lions and leopards. You’ll explore the Delata area known for its population of Hartebeests Waterbucks, Oribis, Topi, Spotted hyenas, Rothschild’s giraffes, and occasionally Leopards.

After your memorable game drive, return to the lodge for your breakfast and lunch. After lunch you will go for a boat cruise to the base of Murchison falls where you will watch the magnificent falls rumble. The cruise also offers immense opportunities to witness various wildlife species at the banks and in the waters. You’ll witness schools of hippos and Nile crocodiles. This area also boasts one of the most diverse populations of birdlife in the park especially water birds that you’ll enjoy viewing on your tour

After your boat cruise adventure, return to the dock and transfer back to the lodge where you’ll enjoy relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3:  Morning Game drive and afternoon hike to the top of the Falls

Start your day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a morning adventure in the Park. After breakfast, embark on another thrilling game drive in the park for opportunities to witness more wildlife species that you might have missed out on the previous game drive. Your driver guide will take you to places that you did not explore on the previous game drive. Enjoy wildlife sightseeing in the park as you drive through the stunning savannas of the park. After your remarkable adventure, return to the lodge and enjoy a refreshing meal and relaxation.

After lunch, drive to the top of the falls and hike to the top for an opportunity to witness the majestic waterfalls from above. The experience here is really remarkable – you’ll witness the large river forcing itself through a narrow gorge of about 7 meters and plunging about 45 meters deep with a thunderous roar. After your adventure, return to the lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Do optional Activities or direct transfer back to Kampala

On the last day of this 4 Days Unltimate Uganda Tour, you can embark on various other option activities before transferring back to Kampala. There is a variety of activities from which you can choose from including chimpanzee trekking, game drive, or nature walk. After, you’ll embark on your journey back to Kampala. Lunch will be enjoyed en route.
