Day 1: Leave early in the morning to Murchison Falls National Park
Leave Kampala early in the morning and drive to Murchison falls national park. On your way, make a detour at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will see the magnificent white Rhinos. Proceed to the park and check into the lodge of your choice.
Go on an evening game drive where you will see Giraffes, Elephants, Buffalos, Lions, different species of Antelopes and if you are lucky, you will spot the rare Leopard. Go back to the lodge for your dinner and rest.
Day 2: Early morning game drive and afternoon boat ride at Victoria Nile
Wake up and go for the early morning game drive where you will see Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Hyenas, various Antelope types, and probably a Leopard. Return for breakfast at the lodge and embark on a boat trip after lunch.
On this boat trip, you will see the Nile crocodile, Hippos, Elephants, and Buffalos on the shoreline as well as various species of aquatic birds.
As you proceed on the trip you will come to the base of the magnificent falls and if you have your eye out for adventure, you can take a hike up the falls.
Your driver will pick you up at the top of the falls and take you back to the lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Transfer from Murchison Falls national park to Kibale forest national park for chimpanzee tracking in Bigodi wetland and proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park
Start off at Kibale forest national park after your breakfast. When you arrive at the park, go on a thrilling chimpanzee tracking adventure.
On this adventure, you will see these primates in their natural habitat as well as buffaloes and elephants if you are lucky.
This park is common for its 13 species of primates. Kibale Forest National Park is also a bird watcher’s paradise because the park has over 370 bird species.
After this activity, commence on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Check into the lodge of your choice for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise at Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up and go on an early morning game drive in the park along the delta where you will catch several animals such as Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Warthogs, various Antelope species, Giraffes, and probably the very rare Leopards. You will also come across over 600 species of birds and various plant species.
In the afternoon, go on a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will catch herds of Buffaloes and Elephants, Hippopotamuses, and many other animals as they come for refreshment.
You will also catch sight of different bird species such as Pel’s fishing owl. After this adventure, return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 5: Wake at ease for morning breakfast and transfer to Kampala
Wake up at ease and start your journey back to Kampala. On your way, you will make a stopover at Igongo cultural center to experience the western Uganda heritage.
As you continue to Kampala, you will also make a detour at the Equator where you will enjoy the water experiment and take memorable photographs. After this, begin your journey to Kampala.
