5 Days Classic Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive in the Jungles of the park to encounter tree-climbing lions and other animal species like Buffaloes, Giraffe, and others.

You will do Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge and a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. After which on the fourth day, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for mountain gorilla tracking tour activities in the Jungles of the Impenetrable forest of Bwindi. The safari starts from Kampala City with a Kampala City tour and ends in Kampala.

Detailed 5 Days Classic Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda

Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning, leave Kampala heading Southwest via Masaka and Mbarara. Stop at the Equator, a famous spot for photography. For the rest of the journey, enjoy the Acacia woodland, long-horned Ankole cattle, and Ishaka tea plantations. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch.

Go for an evening game drive and return for dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Ihamba safari lodge or Bush lodge. (Meal plan: Dinner and Lunch catered for).

Day 2: Game drives and launch trip on Kazinga Channel

Enjoy the sunrise by taking an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track, Queen’s mile and expect to see Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Kobs, Waterbuck, and if you are lucky the shy Leopard and Spotted Hyena.

Return to the lodge for breakfast. The afternoon goes for the spectacular boat cruise on Kazinga Channel for amazing birdlife and a variety of wild animals. Day 3 of the 5 Days Classic Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda: The habituated chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge

Early morning drive to Kyambura forest reserve for chimpanzee trekking in the dense rain forest the activity starts at 8.00 am.

Lunch and proceed to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth via Maramagambo Forest. Proceed to Bwindi for dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs or Silverback lodge or Buhoma Community. FB (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch (packed) and Dinner catered for)

Day 4: The encounter with mountain gorillas

Early morning transfers to the park headquarters for the briefing before you enter into the gorilla sanctuary of Bwindi Forest.

The rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested, and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists.

This park is best known for the fascinating mountain gorillas, where the time is taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates.

The thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure.

The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other.
