Detailed 7 Days Best Uganda Adventure Tour
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Very early in the morning, your safari driver guide will pick you up at your preferred location and start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. This journey takes about 4 hours through the beautiful countryside. You’ll have a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which is located along the same highway to Murchison Falls National Park in Nakasongola. The Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the only place where you can witness the endangered rhinos in Uganda. Arrive at the sanctuary and enjoy your first adventure on this classic 7 Days Safari. You’ll embark on a rhino tracking adventure at Ziwa. The armed ranger guides will escort you into the bushes to search for the rhinos. You’ll enjoy observing them for a good amount of time before returning to the visitors’ center.
You’ll then board your safari vehicle and proceed with your drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Arrive at the park in the evening and proceed to your booked safari lodge. Check in at the lodge, relax, and unwind from the long drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon boat Cruise to the bottom of the Falls
Embark on an early morning game drive on the Northern bank where your guide will help you spot elephants, lions, cape buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, bushbucks, spotted hyenas, and if you are lucky, leopards.
Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax at the swimming poolside. After lunch, you will safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron.” There you can marvel at toothsome hippos and crocodiles, and over the 17-kilometer stretch, you may also see elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs.
This is also the habitat for many bird species including goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hombills, cormorants, and the rare shoebill stork. After taking photographs of the Murchison Falls you will return for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Touring Fort Portal – the Shadow of the Mountains of the Moon
After breakfast, drive from Murchison Falls Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. You drive through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro Kingdom, passing through the verdant countryside, tea plantations, and traditional homesteads.
You reach the colorful and pretty town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori. Explore this rich town before proceeding to your booked safari lodge.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters after an early breakfast for primate viewing. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. A half-day search for chimpanzees and other primates including Phoestes, Red-colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed, and grey-cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies, and many small insects.
The ranger will provide detailed explanations of not only primates but also all the forest’s fauna and flora. Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon.

With your packed lunch, drive to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector of the Park in search of the tree-climbing lions found only in this area of Uganda. The landscape is open savannah with acacia trees. Have a packed lunch. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight.
The rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested, and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. This park is best known for its fascinating mountain gorillas, where the time taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates.
The thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, excellent, and exciting adventure. Mountain gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today start your day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and head to the park headquarters where you join other visitors for a briefing session. During the briefing session, the park officials will take you through all the necessary information for a safe gorilla trekking experience. You’ll be given the gorilla trekking rules and guidelines, safety tips in the forest, and what to anticipate during the trek. Later you’ll be divided into small groups of about 8 members each and allocated gorilla families that you’ll be trekking.
It is time to delve in these impenetrable jungles to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. The trek lasts for a few hours before you finally located the gorillas. You’ll enjoy one full hour observing these primates in the jungle as you take photographs and film them for memories. Later after your allocated time elapses, start the trek back to the starting point. You’ll be offered a certificate of participation at the visitors center. Transfer back to the lodge. Enjoy lunch and a short rest at the lodge.
After lunch, embark on a cultural experience tour to the local Batwa communities. The Batwa live near the forests having been evicted from the forest for conservation purposes. After the cultural adventure, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
