You will then visit the world’s renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Amboseli National Park before you fly to Uganda.

Day-by-day detailed 12-Day Kenya and Uganda Wilderness Adventure itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
From your hotel in Nairobi, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the world’s renowned Masai Mara National Reserve to start your combine Uganda – Kenya 12 days safari tour. On your way to Masia Mara National Reserve, you will be briefed about this adventure. You will drive through the beautiful country side, witness the stunning landscapes and natural beauty of Kenya. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch.
Check in at your lodge in Masai Mara and have lunch before you embark on your remarkable adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. After lunch, you will embark on your first adventure in the Mara. Your experienced guide will take you to some top wildlife watching hotspots within Masai Mara for opportunities to spot top African species like lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species among others. You will explore the Mara plains as you enjoy their stunning beauty. As your day draws to a close, return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 2: All-day Game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve
Today you will be exploring the renowned Masa Mara National Reserve. You will embark on a game drive in the morning just after breakfast at your lodge. Keep your eyes out for the great African predators and their cabs during your adventure. You will visit the plains that are a home to enormous herds of grazing mammals that also attract the elusive cheetahs and the leopards. You will witness a diverse range of wildlife species during your game drive here as you will spot the elusive predators hiding amidst the acacia boughs.
You will also have an opportunity to witness the world’s natural spectacle ‘‘Wildebeest Migration’’ in Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have a lunch break in between drives. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot on the reserve. After lunch continue with your adventure in the Mara Plains. Later in the evening, you can also visit the local villages for a cultural immersion. You will have an opportunity to glimpse into their homes and social structure during your visit. Later return to your lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, check out and thereafter commence the road safari to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will have your next adventure. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch and proceed to your booked lodge. Check in at your lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you shall take a short rest and later head for an afternoon game drive at 4 pm through the stunning Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is popular for its millions of lesser flamingos that flock the alkaline Lake Nakuru. Besides its abundant birdlife, Lake Nakuru is also home to a number of wildlife species including lions, leopards, buffalos, hyenas, and cheetahs among others. After your short evening tour around lake Nakuru, return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Amboseli National Park
Wake up and have breakfast at your lodge in Nakuru. After breakfast, depart Nakuru and drive to Amboseli which is about 7 hours’ drive. This long drive offers you an opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kenya, witnessing its stunning landscape and natural beauty. Arrive in Amboseli National Park and proceed to your lodge. Check in at your lodge, have lunch, and start your afternoon safari in Amboseli.
You can do game drives till about 6:00 PM in Amboseli, home to a diverse range of wildlife species. You will enjoy spotting from the elusive predators to the giant tuskers of Amboseli National Park. After your evening adventure in Amboseli, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Amboseli to Nairobi Airport for Onwards Flight to Entebbe
Conclude your stay in Kenya and prepare for new adventures in Uganda. Wake up and have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, check out of your lodge, depart to Nairobi, and drop off at the Airport for your onward flight to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you shall be met and welcomed by your Ugandan Driver guide. He/she will assist you, brief you, and transfer you to your Hotel for a relaxing evening after your journey.

Day 6: Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park
Today you will be traveling to Kibale National Park. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, depart you hotel and drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Kibale forest is known for its diverse primate species, especially the chimpanzees. The drive from Entebbe to Kibale is approximately 7 to 8 hours.
Arrive at Kibale National Park and proceed to your booked safari accommodation for relaxation and dinner.

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale National Park
Today you will be indulging in the deep forests of Kibale to search for the chimpanzees. Start your day very early in the morning with a soothing breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, transfer to the park head quarters where you will join groups of other trekkers for a briefing session and later chimpanzee trekking. trekking to see chimpanzees in Kibale can last anywhere between 30 minutes to 6 hours depend on the location of chimpanzees.
After your remarkable chimpanzee trekking experience in the forest, you will return to the starting point where your driver guide will be readily waiting for you. You will then transfer back to the lodge for lunch and rest.
Later in the afternoon, you will explore the Bigodi wetland sanctuary – and enjoy a community walk for a cultural immersion. Later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today After Breakfast, Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will enjoy your next adventure. Queen Elizabeth National Park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems and unique tree-climbing lions. The drive from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth will take about 2 to 3 hours. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and proceed with an en-route game viewing to your lodge.
Check-in at the lodge and have lunch. After lunch, visit the scenic crater lakes region.

Day 9: Morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains
Start your day with an early morning breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart for a game drive around the Kasenyi area of this park to witness its abundant wildlife species including lions and other top predators. Enjoy your game viewing here before returning to the lodge. After your morning adventure, return to the lodge for a refreshing meal and a short rest.
After lunch, go for a thrilling boat ride around the Kazinga Channel for opportunities to spot both birdlife and wildlife. This area is popular for its large schools of hippos and abundant number of water birds. Later after your adventure, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Game drive at Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and enjoy an en-route drive through the Ishasha region for opportunities to see the famous tree-climbing lions. From here, you will proceed with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This journey will take about 2–3 hours.
Arrive at Bwindi and proceed with a drive to your booked accommodation facility. Check-in and relax at your lodge. An optional community tour can be arranged in the afternoon.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Forest
Today you will be trekking the elusive mountain gorillas in Bwindi. Start your day early with a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, drive to the visitors center where you will join groups of other trekkers for a briefing session and later gorilla trekking in the Impenetrable forest. After the briefing, you will follow the lead of your ranger guide and indulge deep in the tropical jungles to search for mountain gorillas.
Trekking to see gorilla in Bwindi can be challenging but the experience is worth every penny and effort. After a long trek, you will finally locate these primates in the jungle. You will spend 60 minutes observing the gorillas and taking photographs. After one hour with the gorillas elapses, start your trek back to the starting point. You will be awarded with a certificate of participation. Later return to your lodge for a refreshing meal and relaxation.
Spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 12: Airport drop off
Today marks the end of this classic 12-Day Kenya and Uganda Wilderness Adventure. Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart your lodge and drive back to Entebbe International Airport where you will board your departure flight.
