From Kisoro, you can then connect to Bwindi or Mgahinga by road transfer, a journey that takes at most 2 hours. After trekking gorillas, transfer back to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight to Kenya or Tanzania where you will be embarking on an African safari.

In case you do not fancy these long ground transfers but would like to keep your budget at an affordable price, you can fly to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda from where you will transfer to Uganda’s Bwindi on a 4-hour drive. Note: if you are planning to trek gorillas in Uganda, flying into the country through Entebbe International Airport, it requires a minimum of at least four days. The first day and the last day are for transfers to and from the park.
