Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the your driver guide will be ready to pick you up and transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park to start this classic safari adventure. You’ll embark on this journey to the western part of Uganda, driving past several popular town. The journey through Uganda’s countryside offers remarkable opportunities for visitors to witness the stunning beauty of Uganda – you’ll be able to witness its stunning landscapes and landforms. You’ll have a stop over at the equator at Kayebwe for an opportunity to experience the equator water experience. You’ll then proceed with your journey, stopping over at Mbarara for lunch.

After Lunch, continue with a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening. Upon arrival at the lodge, proceed with a drive to your booked safari lodge. Chech in at the lodge where you’ll be able to relax and unwind from this long journey. Dinners and overnight at the lodge.

On this second day of the 5 Days classic Uganda safari tour, you’ll start your day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on a sunrise game drive in the park. Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park will grant you plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities; you’l be able to encounter even the elusive nocturnal before they get back to their hiding places. The Kasenyi plains are a popular wildlife viewing area in the park, you encounter lions, elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Kobs, Waterbuck, and if you are lucky the shy Leopard and Spotted Hyena.

After your sunrise game drive in the park, return to the lodge for a short rest and lunch. After lunch, embark on an afternoon spectacular boat cruise on Kazinga Channel for amazing bird viewing and wildlife sightseeing opportunities. Kazinga Chanel is known for its large schools of hippos and several other popular African wildlife species that come here to have a sip on the waters during a hot day. After the boat trip, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning drive to Kyambura forest reserve for a chimpanzee trekking experience. You’ll arrive at the visitors center by 7:00 am and by 8.00 am your chimpanzee trekking experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park will start. Although the chimpanzee numbers here are not as overwhelming as those in Kibale Forest National Park, Chimpanzee trekking in Queen Elizabeth National Parjk is still rewarding with excellent sightings. You’ll follow the lead of ranger guides and embark on a quest for these primates in the forest. After locating them, you’ll spend about one full hour observing them as they go by their day. After your time elapses, return to the starting point from where you’ll meet your driver guide who then drives you back to your lodge. Enjoy a refreshing meal at the lodge and a short rest.

Later embark on a road transfer to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Nationa Park in the Far southwestern corner of Uganda. This journey takes approximately 4 hours. You’ll arrive in Bwindi in the evening and proceed to your booked safari lodge for check in. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
