Detailed 13 Days Uganda Rwanda Wildlife Safari Tour
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
You’ll arrive at Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport to start your classic 13 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari and Rwanda Primate Tour. Upon arrival at the Airport, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your booked hotel in Entebbe Town. You’ll relax after the long flight at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer from Kampala to the marvelous Murchison Falls on the Nile
Early morning, leave Kampala driving Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle. If you start early morning, it is possible to visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to see rhinos in the wild. Lunch in Masindi Hotel. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest protected area in Uganda, with 3.840 Kms, named after the falls on the Victoria Nile, which divides the park into two sectors. Relax a bit at a situated site on the top of the spectacular falls, where you can see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through a seven-meter canyon. The 43-meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the best of the Nile River.

Day 3: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise on the River Nile
Your day starts with an early morning game drive, transverse the Northern part of the park for a game drive to view and take photographs of elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, if you are lucky the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. After lunch, proceed for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. This is an opportunity to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Fort Portal on the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon
Early morning transfer from Murchison Falls driving Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori. Drive to your booked safari lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Early morning chimpanzee trekking & Afternoon Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following an early morning breakfast at the lodge, drive to the visitors’ center, where you’ll join groups of other trekers for a chimpanzee trekking experience. The adventure starts with a briefing, the park officials will take you through the trekking rules and regulations, safety tips during the trek, and what to anticipate during the trek. After the briefing, you’ll go into the forests to search for the chimpanzees. Kibale is home to 12 other primate species and several birds that you’ll encounter during your trek. You’ll finally locate the primates and enjoy one full hour observing them as they go about their day.
After the trek, return to the lodge and enjoy a refreshing meal. After lunch, check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive at the park and proceed to your booked safari lodge.

Day 6: Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Take an early morning cup of coffee before setting off for a game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and lots of animals and birds. Get back to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, go for aboat safari at the Kazinga Channel. You’ll enjoy witnessing the different wildlife and bird species that call this area home.

Day 8: The magic encounter with the mountain gorillas
After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the mountains gorilla tracking inside the Bwindi forest. You need to carry drinking water, rain jacket, and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas. After tracking, come back to the Homestead for lunch before making a scenic journey to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. An area referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with its incredible view of Lake Bunyonyi.
Dinner and overnight at Birdnest or Bunyonyi overland Camp or Heritage.
Day 9: Experiencing the Fabulous Scenery of Lake Bunyonyi & Transfer to Volcanoes
After an early breakfast, have a two-hour boat ride inside Lake Bunyonyi to various islands inside the lake for bird viewing, sightseeing and discovering the sites of the Bakiga culture. Transfer to Rwanda in Musanze, have dinner, and overnight.
Day 10: Mountain gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Today, you’ll embark on a remarkable primate tracking experience. Start your day with an early morning breakfast. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters, where you’ll join other visitors for the trekking experience. You will go through the briefing and later embark on the trek to look fo mountain gorillas. The trek will last anywhere between 2 hours to 6 hours. After the trek, you’ll return to the lodge. Later in the Afternoon, visit the local communities for an immersive cultural experience.
Day 11: Transfer to Nyungwe
Wake up at leisure and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on a drive to Nyungwe National Park. This journey takes you throught the scenic countryside. You’ll arrive at the Nyungwe and drive to your booked safari lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 12: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest
Today you enter Nyungwe forest for the trekking in search of the numerous troops of Angolan Colobus monkeys and/or tracking the chimpanzees. Nyungwe is a vast, uncontaminated mountain rain tropical forest over 1000 sq km in size and you will be amazed by such intense, green mountain vegetation. It is home to 13 species of primates, over 275 species of birds, 100 varieties of orchids. Ensure you carry with you packed lunch and water. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Top View Hotel FB
Day 13: Kigali – departure
Today, start your day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and drive to Kigali International Airport for departure.

We have luxury latest Land cruisers each driven by professionally trained driver guides and fuel. Our Vehicles have pop-up roofs for proper game viewing and photography. The safari cars come with a small fridge for cooling your drinking water while on safari (which is always included while In the Vehicle).
