Day 1: Transfer from Arusha town to Serengeti National Park.

On your first day of the 6 days Serengeti and Bwindi gorilla trekking safari, you will be picked from your accommodation in Arusha town and transferred to Serengeti National Park. The drive will take about 4 hours through the scenic countryside of Tanzania. Arrive in Serengeti National Park and proceed to your booked safari lodge. Check in and have lunch at your lodge.

After lunch, embark on a wildlife viewing adventure in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is known for its large numbers of wildlife including the big five. Expect to encounter lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, hyenas, giraffes, elands, zebras, wildebeests, Thomson gazelles, baboon, rhinos, and hartebeests among others during this game drive.  Later you will head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2:  Full day wildlife safari experience in Serengeti National Park.

Today you will spend the whole day exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park. Start your day early in the morning with breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart your lodge with packed lunch boxes and embark on a game drive adventure in Serengeti National Park. Your driver guide will take you to some of the wildlife hotspots for opportunities to witness various wildlife species including; crocodiles, hippos, zebras, ostriches, and elephants among others. Keep an eye out for the iconic African Big Five species.

You will have a picnic lunch at a scenic spot in the park. After lunch, proceed with your adventure in Serengeti. Visit various wildlife spots for opportunities to witness the annual wildebeest migration and other wildlife species including all the top predators in Africa. As your day draws to a close, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Serengeti National Park to Arusha and catch your flight to Entebbe Airport in Uganda.

Wake up and enjoy breakfast at leisure at your lodge. After breakfast, enjoy an en-route game drive back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha and proceed to the airport to catch your flights to Uganda. You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda where you will meet your Uganda safari guide ready to pick you up and drop you at your booked hotel either in Entebbe or Kampala.

You will spend the rest of your day resting at your hotel.

Day 4: Pick Up From Your Hotel and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

In the morning, your guide will pick you up from the hotel, and you will embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This long journey will take you about  8 to 9 hours, driving through the scenic countryside. You will have a short stop over at the Equator for photos. After proceed with your drive to Bwindi, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.

Proceed with a drive to your booked accommodation in Bwindi. Arrive at your accommodation and check in. Relax and unwind from your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Forest National Park

Today you will be experiencing the long-awaited gorilla trekking. Start your day early in the morning with a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast head to the park headquarters for briefing – you will be taught the dos and don’ts regarding your gorilla trekking. You will then be allocated a gorilla family to trek and ranger guides.

It’s time to grab your hiking stick and delve into the jungle in search of the endangered gorillas in their natural habitat. Although the trek is really challenging, after you locate the gorillas you will simply forget the hustle you went through to get to them. As you hike in the jungles, you will notice trees and shoots breaking which is the first and most common sign of gorillas. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be thrilled and you will kick off with your interaction with the gorillas of course not forgetting to take photos, you will learn about how the gorillas go about their daily lives of feeding and making nests.

Later after trekking, you will head back to your lodge for relaxation and if you wish you can go for a community visit to find out how the locals go about their activities and learn about the cultures of the locals.

Day 6: Transfer Back to Kampala and to Entebbe airport.

Wake up to the beautiful environment of Bwindi, and have your relaxed breakfasts. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a transfer back to Entebbe International Airport where you will catch your flight back home.
