Detailed day by day 6 Days Luxury Kenya Safari Tour itinerary

Day 01: Fly from Wilson Airport to Meru National Park

From Nairobi, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for a transfer to Meru National Park. There are two scheduled flights from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to Meru National Park. The first one departs at around 09:00 am and arrives at 10:00 am. The second flight departs at 10:00 am and arrives at 12:00 am. You will catch your flight to Meru to start your classic 6 days luxury tour in Kenya.

Arrive in Meru National Park and transfer to your lodge. You will have lunch at your lodge and proceed for a remarkable evening game drive to explore this charming safari park. Adventure the park and after return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02: Full Day exploring Meru National Park

Wake up early in the morning have breakfast and get ready to explore this unique park on safari game drive.  Meru National Park is one of Kenya’s hidden gems, nestled in the eastern part of Kenya, covering an area of 800 km2. You will witness the diverse wildlife resident in the park including the African Big Five Animals (lion, leopard, buffalo, leopard, and rhinos). The park is also home to giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and several species of antelopes. You will explore the diverse habitants of this park including savannah grasslands, riverine forests, and acacia woodlands that support diverse wildlife and bird life. For avid birders, there are upto 400 bird species to look out for in Meru including numerous raptors, waterfowl, and colorful migratory birds. After your remarkable adventure in the park, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Elewana Elsa Rhino Sanctuary and Loisaba Conservancy, Laikipia

Today your adventure will take you to one of the successful rhino sanctuaries in Kenya. This rhino Sanctuary is named after Elsa the lioness, made famous by Joy Adamson’s book and film ‘‘Born Fre.’’This Sanctuary is dedicated to protecting and rehabilitating both black and white rhinos that were decimated from poaching. You will have the opportunity to witness these majestic animals on your tour here.

Late during the day, you will transfer to Loisaba Conservancy, Laikipia for your next adventure. End your day with a classic African sundowner – an ice-cold G&T sipped as the sun sets, followed by a private dinner under the stars.

Day 04: Loisaba Conservancy – Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast from your camp, your driver guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. The flight departs at around 09:15 am to Masai Mara National Reserve and arrives at around 11: 00 am. Your driver guide will pick you up from the airstrip and drive you to your lodge for check-in and lunch.

After lunch, you will explore Kenya’s renowned Masai Mara National Reserve on a thrilling afternoon game drive. Explore the Mara plains where you will get the opportunity to spot all the African Big Five Animals like lions, leopard, rhinos, elephants, and buffalos. You will also spot several other resident wildlife and bird life while in Masai Mara.

After your evening game drive, you will be driven back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 05: Full day at Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, depart your lodge with lunch boxes for a remarkable wildlife watching tour in Masai Mara National Reserve. Explore the reserve to spot different wildlife species and birdlife that you might have missed during the previous game drive. Look out for the Big Five African Animals and the spectacular Wildebeest Migration on this day. Later in the afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06: Masai Mara National Park & fly to Nairobi

On this last day of your 6 days classic Kenya Safari, enjoy the last few hours gazing out from the camp and admire the beautiful watercourse and riverine forest. You may even spot some animals and birds having their breakfast. After that, it will be time to head to the airstrip for your final safari flight to Nairobi.
