Detailed day by day 7 Days Tanzania Wildlife Tour itinerary

Day 01: Arusha – Tarangire National Park & Afternoon Game drive

From Arusha, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Tarangire National Park to start of your 1week wildlife safari in Tanzania. This short drive starts early in the morning at around 7:30 am and may take you about 2 hours. You will arrive in Tarangire and proceed for a short drive in the park.

Drive to your lodge and check in for lunch. After lunch and a short rest at the lodge, embark on an evening game drive in Tarangire to explore its abundant diversity. Tarangire is known for its large elephant population that roam various environments within the park. You will spot these giant animals so close to your safari vehicle since they are used to human presence. There are other resident wildlife species in Tarangire including; lions, leopards, hippos, cheetahs, buffalos, hyenas, and zebras among others. Enjoy witnessing these various species in their natural habitat with great opportunity to take some beautiful wildlife photographs.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02: Transfer from Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning wake up and enjoy another thrilling morning game drive in Tarangire National to spot different wildlife species. You will have the opportunity to spot different wildlife species in the park one more time, exploring various areas that you might have not visited during the previous game drives for a virgin experience. Keep an eye out for the iconic Big Five Animals (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and Elephants). Return to the lodge after the game drive and have lunch.

After lunch enjoy a thrilling transfer on a 3 hours journey to the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera, Ngorongoro Crater for the next adventure on this 7 Days Tanzania Safari holiday. Arrive in the late evening and proceed directly to your lodge for check-in. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 03: Exploring Ngorongoro Crater & Searching for the African Big Five

Start your day early in the morning with a hefty breakfast and after depart your lodge with lunch boxes for a full day game viewing safari. Explore various sections of the crater to spot different wildlife species while keeping an eye out for the iconic Big Five African Animals. Ngorongoro crater is world renowned for its large populations of lions, having one of the largest lion population in the world. There are also several other wildlife species that inhabit the crater floor including elephants, rhinos, buffalos, hyenas, hippos, zebras, gazelles, African wild dogs, cheetahs, leopards, and several antelope species.

Spend your day exploring the park and have great opportunities to spot all the top wildlife species in the crater floor. After your game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Game drive & transfer to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast in the morning embark on a morning game drive in the crater once more to spot different wildlife species. Enjoy witnessing from the Big Five African Animals to large herds of grazer mammals. After you are concluded with your sightseeing experience in the crater floor, return to your lodge to refresh. Have lunch at the lodge and later transfer to Serengeti National Park.

Arrive in Serengeti and enjoy an en-route drive to your booked lodge where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05&06: Serengeti National Park

You will spend the next two days in Serengeti National Park. Adventure the iconic Serengeti National Park, visit various sections of the park to enjoy wildlife watching. Serengeiti is renowned world wide for its large numbers of wildlife including the African Big Five species. Serengeti National Park is home to lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, African Wild dogs, buffalos, hippos, gazelles, wildebeests, and several antelope species among others. While here, you are guaranteed to spot a diversity of wildlife and spotting wildlife is even much easier.

Explore the different ecosystems within the park  including open grasslands, acacia woodlands, rocky kopjes, and riverine forests to immerse yourself in the true African Wilderness and to have opportunities to spot different wildlife species. Day 07: Serengeti – Arusha

The 7^th day of this Tanzania Holiday Tour will see you transfer back to Arusha. Wake up lazily and have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a transfer back to Arusha. Enjoy a game drive en-route as you exit the park. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon and have lunch at one of the fancy restaurants.

After lunch, your driver guide will be waiting to transfer you to your preferred drop-off point be it a hotel or to the Airport.
