Day 01: Arrival in Tanzania

Today you will arrive in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our representative will be at the airport in time to receive you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. You will arrive at the hotel and check in. The rest of your evening will be spent at the hotels relaxing and preparing for this 8 days wildlife safari in Tanzania.

Your Safari guide will join you at dinner and brief you about this tour, providing you with all the necessary details for a successful safari in Tanzania. Have dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 02: Explore Tarangire National Park

Today following an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a short drive to Tarangire National Park. This short drive is about 2 hour and you will arrive in the park in time for the game drive. Proceed for a game drive adventure in this stunning Safari park to catch sight of all the top wildlife species in Tanzania.

Tarangire National Park is not as popular as its counter parts, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro but boasts large numbers of wildlife species including the African Big Five animals. This National Park is known for its large populations of elephants that usually congregate around the water holes and the giant baobab trees that dot the vast plains, creating one of the most stunning backdrops for wildlife viewing and photography.

There are several wildlife species in the park including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and cheetahs among others. Tarangire is also home to over 500 bird species that you will enjoy spotting in various area of the park.

After your game drive, you will proceed to your safari lodge or camp where you will enjoy a replenishing meal. After lunch, embark on another thrilling game drive exploring this park. Explore all other areas that you might have not visit in the morning game drive to have opportunities to spot other resident wildlife species. As the day transforms into night, return to your lodge or Camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 03: Morning Game drive in Tarangire & transfer to Serengeti National Park

Today after an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to spot wildlife when its most active. Keep an eye out for the iconic African Big Five Animals (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and Buffalo). You will also spot several other wildlife species including those you missed on the previous game drives.

After your thrilling game drive in Tarangire, you will drive to the world renowned Serengeti National for your next adventure on this 8 days budget tour in Tanzania. The journey to Serengeti is thrilling as you get opportunities to witness the beautiful Tanzania countryside, stunning landscapes, and natural beauty. Arrive in Serengeti in the late afternoon and drive to your lodge or camp for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04 – 06: Exploring Serengeti National Park

From day four to day 6, you will speed you time exploring the world renowned Serengeti National Park. Explore the iconic Serengeti to witness all the African Big Five Animals and the spectacular wildebeest Migration. You will wake up early in the morning and embark on full day game drives each of these three days, to explore Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park is renowned worldwide for its unrivaled wildlife numbers, hosting one of the natural wonders (Wildebeest Migration) and its stunning landscapes. Serengeti is home to about 90 different wildlife species and about 500 different bird species. Some of the most sought after here are the African Big Five Animals (Lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos). Serengeti host an impressive population of these iconic African Wildlife species and you are guaranteed spotting them during 8 days Tanzania Safari holiday.

Other wildlife species that you will encounter during your safari in Serengeti includes; wildebeests, hyenas, giraffes, cheetahs, gazelles, and various antelope species.

You will also have opportunities to spot various bird species in the park during these 3 days in Serengeti.

Day 07: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will wake up early and have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, embark on a thrilling and short drive to the world’s renowned Ngorongoro Crater for a life changing wildlife adventure. Descend about 600 meters to the crater floor for wildlife sightseeing experience.

Ngorongoro Crater is known for its large populations of lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos and rhinos. You will spot all these massive animals in their natural habitats across various ecosystems including grasslands, savannas, swamps and forests. There are also various wildlife species such as wildebeests, hippos, zebras, warthogs, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, Gazelles among others. You will also come across several bird species including flamingos, eagles, vultures, ostriches among others.

After your thrilling morning game drive in the Crater, you will drive to your lodge for a short relaxation and tasty meal. After lunch, embark on another thrilling game drive in the crater floor to spot more wildlife. Later in the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 08: Departure

Today marks the end of this 8 Days Budget Tanzania Safari. You will wake up lazily at your lodge or camp and enjoy your last breakfast at the bush. After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Arusha. Lunch will be en-route.

At Arusha your driver guide will transfer you to your drop off point ( Airport or Hotel).
