Day 01: Arrival in Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our representative will be waiting to welcome you to Tanzania. He/ She will introduce to you and later transfer you to your booked hotel in Arusha. Your guide will share with you all the necessary details of this 8 Days Tanzania Group joining Safari.

You will spend the rest of your day at the hotel relaxing. As day transforms into night, you will have your dinner and then an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 02: Tarangire National Park

Very Early in the morning, you will wake up and have breakfast at your hotel. Your driver guide will pick you up just in time and take you to join your fellow travelers to start your adventure. You will then proceed with a drive southward to Tarangire National Park. At Tarangire, you will proceed for a wildlife watching adventure on game drive safaris.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants that congregate near the water holes and roam the various ecosystems in the park. The elephants are so accustomed to human presence – expect to see them just a few meters from your safari vehicle. Besides elephants, Tarangire is also home to several other wildlife species including lions, leopard, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and several antelope species among others. Also expect to spot up to 500 different bird species while adventuring this charming safari Park.

Tarangire offers one of the most stunning environments for wildlife watching and photography in Tanzania. The giant baobab trees and acacia trees create a stunning environment and area major highlights of Safari here. As it turns to noon, you will drive to your booked safari lodge where you will have lunch and a short rest.

After lunch, embark on another thrilling game drive in the park. Later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03: Exploring Lake Manyara National Park

On this third day of your Tanzania 8 Days Group Safari, you will visit the popular Lake Manyara National Park. Wake up early in the morning and Have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, embark on a journey to the north to the famous Lake Manyara National Park.

Although less popular than its counterparts Serengeti and Ngorongoro, Lake Manayara National Park is one of the most visited areas for wildlife watching Safaris in Tanzania. Lake Manyara National Park is popular for its unique tree climbing lions that are usually seen lounging on acacia tree branches. Besides tree climbing lions, the National Park is home to a diverse range of birdlife and wildlife that you will enjoy watching during this group tour in Tanzania. Among the wildlife you will encounter here are giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, hippos, impalas, warthogs, and baboons among other. There are also about 400 different bird species in the park including the laser flamingos and several water bird species.

After your adventure, you will drive to the lodge for lunch. After lunch and a short rest, embark on an evening game drive to spot more wildlife and bird species that you might have missed during the morning game drive.

As the day transforms into night, you will drive to your lodge where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Transfer from Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Today you will wake up and have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, embark on a transfer to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Have a game drive en-route as a recap of your adventure in Lake Manyara National Park. The drive from Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park is about 2 and ½  hours drive. Arrive in Serengeti in time for lunch and proceed to your lodge. Check in at your booked lodge and have lunch. After lunch, you will spend your time relaxing at the lodge or go for an optional community visit.

Have dinner and an overnight stay at your booked safari lodge in Serengeti National Park.

Day 05&06:Exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park & Searching for African Big Five

For the next two days of this 8 days Tanzania group safari, you will explore the iconic Serengeti National Park to experience its beauty and wildlife. Experience one of Africa’s treasures as you reward yourself with excellent wildlife viewing experiences, bird watching and cultural immersion. Spend your time exploring different section of this Park. Serengeti if famous for its impressive numbers of wildlife including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, gazelles, crocodiles, hippos, and several antelope species among others.

The fame of this safari park is further attributed by the annual mammal migration that happens to be the second largest terrestrial mammal migration on earth and a world natural wonder. Annually over 2 million wildebeests and their entourage migrate across the Serengeti plains northwards towards the border with Kenya and enter into Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. The migrating mammals face a number of life-threatening challenges like predators that make it even more spectacular to watch. You will explore Serengeti on these two days, visiting various areas.

Day 07: Exploring the iconic Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will explore the Ngorongoro Crater! Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend about 600 meters into the crater floor for a thilling wildlife watching experience. Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its large populations of wildlife and biodiversity. The Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world, and it is one of the world’s natural wonders. The crater floor is the only place where humans co-exist with wildlife making it a superb area to explore.

While here keep an eye out for the iconic African Big Five animals (Lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant). There are also several other wildlife species and bird life that call this area home including cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, hippos, giraffes, wildebeests, and several antelope species among others. Safari here guarantee sightings of large numbers of wildlife that you can ever witness in Africa. After your morning adventure, you will drive to the lodge and check in for lunch.

After lunch and a short rest at the lodge, you will embark on another game drive in the crater floor to catch sight of more wildlife species. After the evening game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 08: Departure

The 8 days marks the end of this incredible Tanzania safari tour. Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will embark on a transfer back to Arusha. Lunch will be en-route. Along the way, you will enjoy the scenic country side, stunning landscapes and natural beauty. Arrive in Arusha in the Afternoon. At Arusha, your driver guide will drop you at your preffered drop off point. ( Airport or Hotel)
