Detailed day by day 7 Days Family Safari in Kenya itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where you will be met by your driver. He/she will welcome you to Kenya and then transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. You will be briefed about this 7 Days Family Safari in Kenya. Arrive in your hotel and check-in.

Day 4: Maji Moto Maasai “Olpul” Bush Camping

Today you will spend your day at Maji Moto, adventuring across the vast plains to a serene forest bush campsite. immerse yourselves in the rich Maasai culture by participating in the construction of a traditional temporary camp. As the sun goes down and transforms into night, you will have the opportunity to sleep under the twinkling stars, nestled in traditional leafy beds and provided with cozy sleeping bags. This experience is truly unique an one you will live to remember.

 

During your evening time, you will participate in a traditional “Olpul” goat slaughtering ceremony, where you join warriors and elders in this cultural practice. You will have a campfire and dances, you will be treated to captivating stories, and soul-stirring songs. You will wind up the experience with a local brew, meticulously crafted from aloe root, honey, and indigenous herbs, reserved for special celebrations.

You will spend your night in these temporary tents under the watchful protection of Maasai warriors, ensuring a safe and immersive experience.

Day 5: Transfer to Maasai Mara Wildlife Reserve
