Day 01: Arrival – Nairobi

You Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to start your 8 days family trip to Kenya. Upon arrival, Our representative will be waiting to welcome you to Kenya and later transfer you to your booked family friendly accommodation in Nairobi City. As you enjoy the drive to your hotel, your guide will brief you about this 8 Days Kenya Best Family Safari. Arrive and check in your hotel where you will enjoy an evening relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi Touring

On the second day of your Kenya Family holiday (8 Days Kenya Best Family Safari ) you will wake up and enjoy some sightseeing around Nairobi city. There is a lot to adventure here as you can visit various tourist spots, such as the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you can interact with elephants; the Giraffe Center, for a hands-on giraffe encounter and educational experience on giraffe conservation among other areas. You will enjoy an exciting adventure in Nairobi with a lot of learning opportunities and interacting with wildlife.

You will enjoy your lunch in one of the cities top restaurants and then continue with your tou in Nairobi. Later in the evening, drive back to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

On day 3 of this family safari in Kenya, wake up in the morning and have breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi. After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up and drive you to Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way, you will enjoy charming countryside views and beautiful landscapes. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your lodge. You will then have lunch and a short relaxation before heading for an evening game drive in the park.

While here you and your loved ones have a lot to experience from the beautiful array of birdlife that flock on the lake shores to big game like lions, leopards, and rhinos, everyone will be excited while here. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the popular safari destinations in Kenya, popular for its flocks of flamingos. Lake Nakuru is popular for Kenya birding safari, the major sight here is the countless numbers of lesser flamingos and other water birds. After exploring the park, you will return to your lodge where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Exploring Maji Moto Maasai Cultural Camp

Following a hefty breakfast at your lodge, depart Lake Nakuru National Park and drive to Maji Moto Maasai Cultural Camp. This Cultural Camp is a superb destination for youngsters to experience both culture and close wildlife encounters.  You will arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park at time for lunch, and check in your lodge.

During your visit, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture, wildlife, and environment by exploring the Loita Hills and Plains. You will also have the chance to spend time with local people, learning about their culture, understanding their challenges, and witnessing how they are adapting to outside influences. After your adventure here, you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Maji Moto Maasai “Olpul” Bush Camping

Today’s adventure on this 8 Days Kenya Best Family Safari we will take us on a trek across the vast plains to a serene forest bush campsite. We will immerse ourselves in the rich Maasai culture by participating in the construction of a traditional temporary camp. As the day transforms into night, we will have the unique opportunity to sleep under the twinkling stars, nestled in traditional leafy beds and provided with cozy sleeping bags.

 

The highlight of the evening will be the traditional “Olpul” goat slaughtering ceremony, where we will join warriors and elders in this significant cultural practice. As the campfire crackles and dances, we will be treated to captivating stories, soul-stirring songs, and meaningful blessings. To complement the experience, we will savor the ceremonial local brew, meticulously crafted from aloe root, honey, and indigenous herbs, reserved for special celebrations.

Throughout the night, we will be under the watchful protection of Maasai warriors, ensuring a safe and immersive experience.

Day 6: Exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara is popular for its unrivaled wildlife-viewing safaris. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch, have lunch, and a short relaxation before going for an evening game drive. The Masai Mara National Reserve wildlife-filled savannahs are a familiar sight to anyone who has seen nature documentaries. Wildlife sighting and game drives are the major safari experiences that you will do while here.

This extraordinary Mara – ecosystem is supported by reliable rains and abundant vegetation, providing a home for millions of herbivores. There are lots of wildlife species that you will cam across in Masai Mara including; wildebeest, zebras, impalas, elephants, Masai giraffes, and several species of gazelle. There are also a number of predators, including cheetahs, leopards, and the highest lion numbers in the world.

Later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Full Day Maasai Mara Safari

After breakfast, depart with your lunch boxes for a full-day game drive searching for the famous African Big Five animals and the world’s renowned mammal migration, Wildebeest Migration. Kenya Family safaris here are truly remarkable! As you explore the Mara, enjoy unbeatable wildlife watching in pop-up roof safari vehicles allowing you to see and take photographs of wildlife. Search for the famous African Big Five Animals (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo). You will also spot several other wildlife species and birdlife while adventuring this National Reserve.

In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Return to Nairobi

Today you will wake up lazily and have breakfast before transferring back to Nairobi. You will be driven back to Nairobi. You will have lunch en route. Your driver guide will drop you off at your preferred drop-off point.
