Detailed Day by Day Itinerary – 8 Days Kenya Safari starting from Nairobi  

Day 01: Pick up in Nairobi & Transfer to Amboseli

This tour starts from Nairobi City, your driver guide will pick you up early in the morning and drive you to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch and check in at the lodge at lunchtime. Have lunch and a short rest at your lodge and then proceed for an afternoon Game drive in the Park.

You will explore the park and witness wildlife species like leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, Buffalos, Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, Crocodiles, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik, and lesser kudu among others. After this incredible game-viewing safari game drive in the park, you will return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02: Full Day Exploring Amboseli National Park

Today you will spend your day exploring the Amboseli National Park. After breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for a full day game drive with your lunch boxes. Explore various areas within the park as you look out for top wildlife encounters. Your driver guide is knowledgeable about the park and will make sure you witness various diversity that Amboseli has to offer on this Kenya Safari 8 Days itinerary.

Take in from the breathtaking views of the towering Mount Kilimanjaro to the majestic elephants that roam the Amboseli plains during your safari here. Day 03: Transfer from Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

On the third day of this 8 Days Kenya Safari that starts from Nairobi, you will embark on a transfer from the breathtaking Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha for your next adventure. Following a hefty breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Lake Naivasha.

The journey from Amboseli National Park is rewarding with scenic views of natural settings and landscapes. You will have a brief stop over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can be able to view the surrounding area and its beauty in abundance.

Proceed to Lake Naivasha where you will arrive at lunchtime. Check-in at your lodge and have lunch at Lake Naivasha. After lunch and a short rest, drive to Hells Gate National Park for a guided walking safari among the wildlife.

Hell’s Gate National Park is famous for its unique landscapes that feature lower cliffs gorges, and natural geothermal spas that will leave you in awe of beauty. You can also book a bike and explore the park on a bike. Afterward, drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge, before embarking on a transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park for your next adventure. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park at lunchtime and check in at your lodge for lunch. After lunch and a short rest at your lodge proceed for an evening game drive in the park.

Famous for its array of birdlife, Lake Nakuru National Park will give you thrilling and exciting adventure moments during this Kenya Safari 8 Days Itinerary. Witness from the  millions of flamingos that flock the lake’s shores to the majestic wildlife including big cats that roam the park’s savannas, forest and lake shores.

Day 05: Full Day Exploring Lake Nakuru National Park

Take it all as you explore Lake Nakuru today on full day Game drive. After Breakfast, you will head out with your packed lunch for a full-day game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Today, explore the wide ecological diversity of Lake Nakuru National Park – exploring from the flamingo-flooded lake shores to the savanna areas for wildlife viewing. Spot lions, waterbuck, cape buffalos, colobus monkey, impalas, zebras, hyenas, gazelles, leopards, and hippos among others. You will also witness different bird species, especially the water birds. After your adventure in the park, return to your safari lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06: Transfer from Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara

Today after breakfast, embark on a transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve for your next adventure experience. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch and check in your lodge where you will have your lunch and a short rest before heading out for an evening game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 07: Full Day Exploring Masai Mara National Reserve

Today you will spend your day exploring the world’s renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Following an early morning breakfast at your lodge, depart for a full day game drive in the Reserve. Experience top wildlife sightseeing during your drive, look out for the African Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo), and witness the Great wildebeest Migration – you day will surely be so exciting with unrivaled wildlife sightings. You can also visit the Masai Cultural Village for a cultural experience before you return to your lodge. Later in the evening, you will be driven back to your Safari lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 08: Early morning Game drive in Masai Mara and Transfer to Nairobi

Today you will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge, and afterwards embark on a transfer back to Nairobi. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Nairobi and later you will be transferred to your drop off point (hotel in Nairobi or Airport).
