Detailed 15 Days Uganda Adventure Safari Tour

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and take a on a Kampala City tour(Optional)

Stop At: Kampala Fair, 25 Bukoto Street (next to Alliance Française), Kampala Uganda.

Acacia Safaris Ltd Company representative will pick you from the Entebbe airport and transfer you to your proposed accommodation site in Kampala city, depending on the time of arrival at the airport. If your flight arrives in the morning, you are advised to change your money in Ugandan Shillings for use in your 15 Days Uganda Adventure Safari.

You can then make city tour trips to some of Kampala’s historical sites with the help of our driver tour guide. This can be done in places like; Kasubi Royal Tombs, Wamala royal tombs, Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine, Museums, and craft shops around town like on Bombo road name it.

Day 2 of the 15 Days Uganda Adventure Safari Tour: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park.

From Kampala, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park, but you will first have lunch at Masindi town then proceed to the magnificent Murchison falls. So captivating! Marvel at the robust Victoria Nile as it is far-fetched into a seven-meter abyss to rumble 45 meters below. Check the series of cascades it forms, which can be viewed at different points up to the pinnacle.

Day 3 of the 15 Days Uganda Adventure Safari Tour: Full day adventure in Murchison Falls National Park

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park.

Wake up early morning for a delicious breakfast, set for a half-day early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Albert Nile River. The choice is yours to either make a game walk to trail animals and study their spoors.

Games in this park include; Rothschild Giraffe, African Bush Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest, Lions, Waterbucks, and a variety of Savannah woodland birds. After lunch, at 14:00 hrs, launch on a Nile boat cruise to view the aqua games in close proximity. This is a unique encounter with a paradise of hippos and crocodiles, among other animals.

Day 4 of the 15 Days Uganda Adventure Safari Tour: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Fort-portal

Stop At: Paraa Masindi, Murchison Falls National Park Uganda.

Depart Murchison Falls national park after an early breakfast at Pakuba safari lodge. Head for Fort Portal, the area where Semuliki & Kibale Forest National Parks are situated. The drive is about 10 hours.

Day 5 of the 15 Days Uganda Adventure Safari: Drive from Fort-portal to Semuliki National Park

Stop At: Semuliki National Park

Retreat early after breakfast for the crown and hot springs. This will be the day in the pygmy villages located near the Ituri Rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an interesting cultural experience.

The guide will carry packed lunch for you who he will serve at the Picnic while you experience the TRUE AFRICA. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Fort Portal. You will arrive in the evening.

Day 6: Drive from Semuliki National Park to Kibale Forest National Park

Stop At: Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking activity.

Take an early morning breakfast. Leave for Kibale Forest National Park, this is commonly accepted to have a superlative diversity and highest massing of primates tour in East Africa.

Relish a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest evergreen in the exploration of the Hot springs, black-white colobus monkeys, wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, butterflies of different species, and many others. Have a luncheon, then go to the Crater Lake region and view the various Crater Lakes. Bigodi swamp walks in the evening.

Day 7: Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park which is about 410 kilometers from Kampala.

Shift to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we take on a morning game drive in search of the wild game view a beautiful panorama of the great lakes of Lake Edwards and Lake George, then also their gutter The great Kazinga channel. Drive to the Institute of Ecology; take your accommodation at Mweya safari lodge.

Expect elephants, lions, buffaloes, kobs, the Python, hyenas, warthogs, birds’ hippos, etc. A buffet lunch is organized at Tembo Restaurant. At either 15.00 or 17.00 hrs we take a boat -cruise along Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George., expect to get exposed to a bird sin abundance both typical and migrants and the highest concentration of hippos in Africa.

Day 8: Full day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park which is about 410 kilometers from Kampala.

Early in the morning after breakfast Mweya safari lodge take a walk to the ground of the Uganda Kob. Search for lions in their natural habitat, as well as elephants, buffaloes, etc. before returning for lunch.

After stretching our legs, we visit the bat cave and hunters cave where we take a close look at the bats, rock python, and forest cobras. The same walk will provide a chance of seeing birds, primates, tree species, etc.

Day 9: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Mountain gorilla tracking activity

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park Buhoma Kanungu sector

After breakfast, driving through a grassland area, instantly we come across an amazing gorge of tropical rainforest 100 meters deep.

Trek into Kyambura River Gorge for an extraordinary; experience hiking chimpanzees. It’s so remunerative to see the ravishing river valley, home to many birds and butterfly species. Take your lunch as you prepare for a drive to Bwindi.

Day 10: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Buhoma Kanungu sector.

Given the fact that gorilla tracking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will actually hike. The escapade of tracking the gorillas in the superb ecosystem of the park will be passionate for the adventurers.

It may take 2hrs up to 8 hours or more and you should be prepared to walk long distances in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. “The excitement of seeing the gorillas makes it all worthwhile!” The briefing will be given on how to handle or behave with these gentle giants always.

Day 11: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and Bird watching tour

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Uganda.

Participants can opt to have a guided nature walk in Bwindi. This decision should be based on whether they should use the village trial or one of the five trials. After a lunch break, we depart for Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi Tour

Stop At: Lake Bunyonyi

Not denying the inevitable rigorous day at Bwindi, most clients will cherish some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake. Tourists will choose among the various tour activities. They can choose to go birding, cycling, and sunbathing, swimming, or even canoeing.

Day 13: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park

Stop At: Lake Mburo National Park located in Mbarara Uganda.

Very early in the morning, given the little time, take breakfast, then have a drive of 4 hours to Lake Mburo National Park. A game drive today will enable us to see the zebras, topes, elephants, elands, impalas, buffaloes antelopes, etc.

Day 14: Drive from Lake Mburo National Park through Kampala city to Jinja

Stop At: Jinja Farmers Market in Jinja city Uganda.

After breakfast, we transfer to Kampala, then to Jinja where we visit the Source of the River Nile. Places to visit are Bujagali Falls, the Source of the Nile, and a number of fishing villages.

Day 15: Return to Kampala city for an adventure tour in the city which is optional depending on your flight and time of departure.

Stop At: Kampala Fair, 25 Bukoto Street (next to Alliance Française), Kampala Uganda.

Take breakfast, then transfer to Kampala for a Partial City tour and later shopping in the city craft shops or even others. After lunch, You are later transferred back to the airport for your return flight back home.

Note should be taken that we have got two types of Safaris, Some opt for Luxury Safari (lodges/hotels) and others opt for Budget Safaris (camping and simple accommodation). Our rates vary with the accommodation type, nevertheless, the rest of the activities will remain the same
